JetBlue Mint is more than a premium cabin; it is an experience shaped by design, comfort, privacy and attentive service. JetBlue commissioned me to create lifestyle photography that communicated these qualities through the perspective of the passenger. The goal was to present Mint as a distinctive premium travel experience, combining considered cabin design with the human moments that make a journey memorable.

The Challenge

Photographs of empty aircraft interiors can showcase materials and seating, but they rarely communicate how a cabin feels to use. JetBlue needed imagery that brought the experience to life while remaining true to its approachable brand personality. The photography had to balance the visual appeal of the cabin with believable passenger interactions, onboard hospitality and the practical realities of working in a confined aircraft environment.

A woman with brown hair and a red shirt lying on an airplane seat, smiling with her eyes closed, resting her head on a pillow, with her hand raised and her fingers intertwined with another person's hand, near the airplane window. There is a small white bag with green text that says 'MINT' on a tray table beside her, and the seat has a beige wall and control panel nearby.

The Photography

I combined design-led interior photography with carefully directed lifestyle scenes featuring models and cabin crew. Graphic compositions, controlled lighting and considered perspectives highlighted the cabin’s architecture, seating, finishes and spatial details, while natural-looking interactions communicated relaxation, dining, privacy and attentive service. Each setup was designed to make the most of the limited space while creating a consistent visual story across the campaign.

The Marketing Impact

The completed photo series provided JetBlue with a versatile collection of premium lifestyle imagery that communicated both the physical environment and the emotional experience of flying Mint.

By combining thoughtfully directed talent with editorial-style storytelling, the campaign helped position Mint as more than a premium seat - it became a complete travel experience defined by comfort, service, and attention to detail.

The resulting imagery continues to support JetBlue’s marketing efforts across multiple channels, providing a visually compelling representation of the brand’s premium offering and reinforcing its place within the competitive airline marketplace.

This project demonstrates the power of lifestyle photography to transform how a premium product is perceived. Through carefully crafted passenger moments and authentic storytelling, the JetBlue Mint photo series captures what travellers value most - not simply where they sit, but how they feel throughout the journey.

The result is a collection of images that brings the Mint experience to life, balancing design, hospitality, and human connection in a way that resonates with modern travelers.
